Our mission is to improve animal lives through rescue, education and adoption. We will provide compassionate animal care and comfort as we connect animals with loving forever homes.
Every paw matters.
The Grant County Humane Society has had quite a journey. We have been the 'pound' entity in Grant County Wisconsin for over 40 years. Since the early 1970s we have been taking in at large dogs, housing them until they are claimed by their owners or keeping them and finding them furever homes.
In 2014 we moved with Lancaster Veterinary Clinic into Lancaster WI and since then, have been also taking surrendered animals and cats, birds, guinea pigs, you name it to help these animals and their people. We became a not for profit at that time and have been growing ever since.
We have rehomed over 2000 animals since we became a nonprofit in 2014. We are out growing our facilities. We are looking for donations for a capital campaign and building as well as general day to day upkeep and treatment for our animals. Go back to the donate button and add your name to a growing legacy.
The impact we have had on the people and animals of Southwest Wisconsin is seen every day in the joy and happy smiles of the people and animals we connect. We are so proud of all we have done, and have yet to do. Come join our team as a volunteer or donate now toward a great cause, Every Paw Matters.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
